Ketamine Infusions and Injections
What is Ketamine infusion therapy?
Ketamine infusion therapy is a state-of-the-art, therapeutic approach to treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD and chronic pain disorders such as migraines and fibromyalgia.
A number of scientific studies show that low-dose, IV Ketamine infusions can dramatically improve the symptoms associated with these disorders.
If you’ve tried prescription pain medicine or antidepressants without achieving the results you desire, Ketamine infusion therapy provides a safe, effective, and non-addictive treatment option that boasts a higher success rate than many traditional treatment methods.

How to Prepare for your Ketamine Infusion
How many Ketamine infusions will I need?
At ReNew Wellness, the team may recommend different treatment lengths depending on the goal of the outcome.
- Mental Health treatment - a series of six treatments spread out over the course of 3-4 weeks.
- Pain Relief- a series of five treatments over the course of 1-2 weeks; additional treatments may be required as needed
Depending on the nature of your symptoms, you may benefit from additional appointments later on, but the team tailors a treatment plan to your unique needs and medical history.
What are the advantages of Ketamine infusion therapy?
Ketamine infusion therapy enters your bloodstream directly, allowing your ReNew Wellness provider to increase or decrease the dosage based on your symptoms. This type of treatment is much more effective than Ketamine pills or nasal sprays that aren’t as reliable.
KETAMINE FOR CHRONIC PAIN
Much like how ketamine works for mental health, Ketamine is very effective for pain relief by "calming down" wound up pain receptors. Ketamine disrupts the communication loop that the brain is sending to the body "I'm in pain, I'm in pain". This reset allows for pain relief that can be sustained for several weeks or months depending on the source of the pain.
Ketamine is very effective for neuropathic (nerve) pain.
Ketamine treatment is great for:
- Neuropathy
- Migraines
- CRPS
- Some chronic cancer pain
Ketamine for pain is usually 2-4 hrs 3-5 days in a row. You will need a driver and baseline labs drawn prior to your first infusion to keep track of your liver enzymes. Ketamine can increase liver enzymes for a short time. You will also need a full medical evaluation by one of our Practitioners to ensure you are a good candidate for the pain infusions.
Who is a good candidate for Ketamine infusions?
To determine if you’re a good candidate for Ketamine infusion therapy, make an appointment with the team at ReNew Wellness.
Following a discussion of your symptoms, a review of your medical history, and a thorough psychological evaluation and physical exam, the team can make a recommendation for your unique case. That said, if you’re in relatively good health, you’d probably benefit.
